Fammilar Strangers (chapter 16)

About a successful young lady who lost everything she had worked for in one day... and was also bound to a total stranger.

After everything, I went back to Shyla's place; she was out, and my mom was still asleep. I headed straight to the bedroom, stripped myself, and went into the bathroom to have a shower in the bathroom I was doing a lot of recollection in less than 24 hours; I had lost everything, plus I had signed my life to a total stranger I screamed as I broke down in tears never did I imagine my life would turn out this way.

I came out of the bathroom a bit calmly. I received a text from Shyla that read she would be coming home late tonight. I replied, "ok," and dropped my phone on the bed. I changed into my PJs and pounced on the bed.... I've had a very long day; I really needed my rest. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep. I woke up the next morning feeling a bit refreshed. Shyla was lying next to me. I looked at her. I wondered what time she came in last night. I got down from the bed and headed to my mum's room; she was already awake. I greeted her and gave her a tight hug " you're gonna hug the life out of me"! She said as she pushed me. I giggled, "that's my mum; she's back," I said; we laughed and hugged each other.*****************************Drey's side of the story.

Since yesterday I saw her in my office I haven't been myself it's as if we've known each other for so long yet we're strangers... there are lots of things familiar about her; I just can't place my hands on them. I needed her close to figure it out; I hope this will not get me into trouble.
