Fammilar Strangers (chapter 10)

About a successful young lady who lost everything she had worked for in one day... and was also bound to a total stranger.

My eyes were wide open as I read the information on my phone; this was not just a company; this was a conglomerate. Apparently, the company that took everything from me was just one of their numerous companies. I opened my mouth... I couldn't understand what they wanted from me; why would they do this to me? What I make from all my companies in a year is like crumbs to them; what do they want from me, I thought to myself. 

Shyla walked In and interrupted my thought, "is she asleep"? I asked " yes, she showered and had sandwiches," Shyla said. I nodded " what did you find' ? She asked. I showed her my phone, and she was surprised as well " what do we do"? Shyla asked " I'm going to go see the heartless person that's behind this," I said. I stood up and headed for the door. "Arielle," Shyla called. I turned around '" please be careful" I nodded my head and left the house.******************************

I arrived at the Dacot group of companies. I sat at the reception; a fair plumpy lady walked up to me " good day, madam, how may we help you?" " Is your boss in?" I asked, "yes," she answered, " I'm here to see him" " do you have an appointment"? " Oh yes, I do" she looked at me suspiciously. She requested my name and went back to her desk, " let me confirm" I smiled " sorry, where is the restroom?" I asked, she directed me, and I left. I was looking for a way to get to the boss's office without an appointment.
