Lagos is for spirits...This is not a cliche. Lagos is for those with fifty-two lives. The least number of life anyone who lives or is planning to live in Lagos should have is nine (9). Why?
Why should you have at least nine (9) lives? Your first life should have been sacrificed for God ( I, as a Christian, have given my life to Jesus). So, give your first life to the God you serve.
Your second life should be tied to your family. In other words, whenever you plan to leave home or travel to Lagos, leave early to avoid getting home early, like 2 am. If you can't avoid it, call your family, so they don't get worried unnecessarily. Keep your family informed. The time you'd use to move from one place to another inside Lagos is equivalent to moving from one state to another.
Your third life should be given to music or anything that will keep your mental state whole. To avoid becoming crazy, give your life to things that will keep your mental health in its perfect state. Thank God for earpieces, pods, headsets, and all. I for don ment. If you can't have access to them, read your Bible or what have you.
Your fourth life should be to avert curses, abuses, and invectives from tired, angry drivers and their correspondents—the passengers who have lost one or two bolts in their heads due to frustration. The kind of curses that you're likely to meet can make you lose your decency.
Finally, keep one life in the bank; another one in an insurance company; another one with a neighbor; and take two with you whenever you plan to travel or go out.
Follow this and thank me later.
