I Am Better

My mother passed away when I was nine. Reading this poem I created earlier this year makes me feel better. And I hope it comforts one or two people out there who have lost a loved one.

I am better now.
I feel it in my bone marrow
that she is not dead
but is done with life from her end.
She deserves the best
where she has gone to rest.
I am okay with the fact
that she is perfectly fine where she is at.
