Keep Your Hopes Alive.

You may be passing through a season now when all hell seems to be let loosed against you, or you're being confronted with the fiercest battle you ever knew in life. Financially, you may be close to zero level, or worse still, you may even be in the negative because you're already in debts. Your trusted friends may have turned to foes, and nobody seems to care about your plights. In the midst of these seemingly hopeless and impossible situations, keep your hopes alive in God, because He's going to make a way out for you. Refuse to be hopeless because hope does not make ashamed. You will not go down because divine help is on the way for you!

You may be passing through a season now when all hell seems to be let loose against you. Perhaps, you're being confronted with the fiercest battle you ever knew. Refuse to give up hope. Refuse to become totally discouraged. Instead of giving in to sorrow or discouragement, you should consider the situation as a reason to rejoice. That may sound weird, but that is the divine wisdom and admonition, or call it the prescription at such a time of trial as you are passing through. "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." (James 1:2-4).

I'm sure you have heard of the trials and the confrontations of Job. He was a good man who came under fiery satanic accusations and affliction. He lost all his fortunes and wealth. He also lost his children in the satanic onslaught that rose against him. As if that wasn't enough, he was buffeted with painful bodily afflictions. He lost not just his wealth but his health as well. Yet, in all his trials and adversities, he persevered and waited patiently for divine intervention and turnaround. At the end of the season of trial and affliction, his captivity turned, and he recovered all he had lost. In fact, he got double all that was stolen from him. Your current condition is surely not as bad or as critical as jobs. The same God that brought Job out of all his ordeals is still the same God today; he will bring you out of your trials and give you a new song to sing. "Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord—that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful." ( James 5:11)

Financially speaking, you may be close to zero level. Or worse still, you may even be in the negative because you're already in debt. Be encouraged that you are not the first to be in that type of financial constraint. Some people have survived worse conditions of needs and deprivations than you are currently going through. You also will receive a divine turnaround. Consider the challenge the Master- Jesus was confronted with when all that was available were five loaves and two fishes. But, five thousand men, besides the women and the children, had to be fed in that particular crusade. Yet by divine providence, everybody ate till they were all well satisfied. The icing on the cake, you know, was the fact that, after everyone had had enough, the fragments of the leftover bread and fish-filled twelve baskets! Be encouraged by that scriptural account, knowing the same God who supernaturally made provisions available is still at work on behalf of those who trust in and look up to Him today. You will experience the same order of supernatural provision that will put an end to your dry season!

Your trusted friends may have turned their backs on you. Worse still, some may have even turned to outright foes. Nobody may seem to care about your plights. In the midst of these seemingly hopeless and impossible situations, keep your hopes alive in God because He's going to make a way out for you! I'm sure you remember how everybody turned against Joseph. His own blood brothers conspired against him and sold him as one would sell a goat to merchants on transit, who, upon reaching Egypt, resold him as a slave to Captain Potiphar. "Now Joseph had been taken down to Egypt. And Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him from the Ishmaelites who had taken him down there".(Genesis 39:1)

You know how the officer's wife told a terrible lie against Joseph and how he was thrown into the prison. His condition moved from bad to worse. It looked so terrible and hopeless. Nevertheless, God brought him out of prison at the appointed time and promoted him to the highest position in Egypt. He became the nation's Prime Minister, second in command only to Pharaoh, the king. The same God Who turned around the captivity of Joseph of old is still ruling in the affairs of men today. He will vindicate you!

I don't want you to magnify your situation. Whatever you may be going through now is neither new nor special. In fact, it is common. Don't make a mountain out of your molehill of challenge. If you look at the situation from the right perspective, you'd soon see a way out. "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man, but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." (1 Corinthians 10:13). You will not end on the floor. You will not die in the prison of obscurity. The enemy's conspiracies shall not bury your destiny. The light will shine on your face again. Your weeping may have endured for a night; your morning of rejoicing is about to dawn. Refuse to become hopeless because of the intensity of the conspiracies against you. God will vindicate you! Refuse to be hopeless because hope does not make you ashamed. You will not go down because divine help is on the way for you!
