Obi-datti 2023: A New Dawn Has Come!

By sloganeering, it is the Food Basket of the Nation and could have lived abundantly well to this slogan if not for the level of insecurity currently threatening the peace-loving people of Benue State. Yesterday, in its capital city of Makurdi, the Obi-Datti presidential campaign train came. They came with good messages of optimism; to convince dear people firmly on what the Obi-Datti administration has in stock for everyone as they seek to get voted in the February 25th polls.

While delivering his speech in the most assured manner, the LP presidential candidate, HE Peter Obi, vowed to Nigerians living in Benue that the Obi-Datti government will not remain in Abuja; rather, they will go to every state of the federation and listen to their problems for permanent solutions to be done. And believe me, he wasn't making the typical politician's promises.

He made a similar plan when he was the governor of Anambra State by visiting rural communities across the length and breadth of the 'Light of the Nation,' listening to their problems and ultimately providing them with all necessary solutions.

Therefore, the Federal Government, FG under Obi and Datti will certainly support every state of the federation to meet their felt needs, other than the assumed needs. They will, most assuredly, ensure that peace is restored to the people of Benue State through the instrumentality of our security apparatus.

The government will support farmers and prospective farmers in going back to their villages for farming so that there will be an abundance of food in the near-empty baskets of Benue. Nigerians, In Obi-Datti, your new dawn has come!
