Scene 5 A Magic Word

Scene 5 A Magic Word: (Bayo is playing with his toy remote-controlled car. When his Dad calls him).

Dad: Hold the pipe for me.

Bayo: ( holds it and sings) I am special, la, la, la.

Dad: (leaves).

Bayo: Not even a bit of appreciation.

( In Shellie's room, she's reading a book when her mom calls her.)

Mom: Can you give me the salt?

Shellie: ( gives her mom the salt)

Mom puts the salt inside the food and leaves.

Shellie: What?

(Inside Susy's room)

Bayo: Susy, did Daddy do what he did to me today?

Susy: Mum did something to me, she asked me to bring her shoes. When I brought it, she just put it inside the shoe closet and went.

Shellie: ( comes inside, crying) Not even a bit of appreciation. This is too much.

Bayo: here comes the emotee ( emotional baby)

Shellie: Shut up, not even a thank you.

Susy: Let me focus on this quote. I am trying to get the meaning. "RESPECT IS RECIPROCAL. "

Bayo: That's it; since we have not been saying thank you, we got a taste of our own medicine. It is reciprocal.

Shellie: (wipes her tears and pats her brother's head) That's my brother. Let's go and beg them.

Susy;(nods her head) That's true.

Shellie: Bayo used his sense this time.

Bayo: (angrily) Have I not been using it?

Susy: Not again!

Bayo: Okay, let's go.
