The Power Of Sharing What You Know!

The qualities you will admire when you come close to me are my level of intelligence, smartness, and ability to learn fast.

It all started when I was young; those days, I would call the kids in our neighborhood to teach them. If there is one thing I can never feel intimidated doing, that is teaching! And more! People have always seen me as a brilliant girl both in school and outside school. I will tell you a secret; my secret. If you want to look smart or get an award as the smartest kid of the year, read this! It is worth your time! But before we ride on: Know that teachers or instructors are not some perfect species. They do not know it all, nor do you.

Until you share what you know, don't see what you know as COMMON KNOWLEDGE. It may shock you that not everyone knows what you know. Not everyone is an information consumer, course trainer, bookworm, or business-oriented like you. Not everyone is learning like you are. Our level of knowledge differs. For an individual or organization to attain a certain level, become an inspiration, produce a significant result, make money, and impact lives, one thing should be undoubtedly common, and that is KNOWLEDGE SHARING!

This is a tip that always makes me stand out and look smart: Sharing what I know. Do you even know how it feels when someone learns new skills or gets information about something? They feel happy! You feel the same, right? I do too! In a changing world where information flies more than the speed of light, everyone is consuming 24/7; the question is, what are you consuming? What do you know that you are so eager to share with people out there? Are you sure what you know will make them, or will it mar them?

What you consume = what you share, so CONSUME RIGHT! If you follow me closely, you will realize that I love speaking, teaching, writing (my first three hobbies), and more! During high school, I was not a backbencher, nor was I the school mathlete. The first popular nickname I got in high school was "Sanguine." I learned about human temperament when I was in Junior Secondary class 2. I am someone that reads a lot! The day I shared about the human temperament, to my slight amazement, not everyone knew about temperament and zodiac signs. Some of my teachers then knew it not! After I shared my knowledge, my face became more visible.

The second popular nickname I got was "John 3: 3" Lol! It was funny, but what spawned that was during one of the Thursday moral instructions, I shared God's word with my fellow students. They nicknamed me a Bible passage 🤣 How about the day I taught my students how to print recharge cards of all networks; they were feeling excited because they got information. And more that I am doing!

I am not just here to have life- fun, make money and die. I am here for a mission: TO INSPIRE, INFORM AND IMPACT! If you are on the same mission as me, how will you complete this mission when you DON'T GIVE BACK TO YOUR WORLD? 🤷‍♀️ See, there is power in knowledge sharing. Tell me what you know; I tell you what I know. Things keep going! But the saddest part of this is that most people think that when they tell you what they know, you get better than them. Oga! Na low self-esteem and inferiority dey worry you. Go and work on it first and come back.

Look at you; you may know better than that person you admire, but why are you so selfish with knowledge? Why are you eating yourself up and sucking the beauty out of yourself? It's my utmost pleasure to also remind you that what makes learning BEAUTIFUL is when you learn and inform an ignorant soul that is going astray in a fast developing world. You can save someone out of bankruptcy with what you know, you can save someone from losing that job/ getting a new one with what you know, and you can help someone build good character and feel inspired with what you know!

How much do you know? No matter how much you tend to know, NO KNOWLEDGE IS COMMON! Know this, and hold your peace! Before I summarize, let me show you what sharing your knowledge does to you:

1. You feel fulfilled and excited

2. You feel valued when you share value

3. You know more! Teaching takes you deeper

4. You become visible

5. You become a role model

6. You look smart! 😅

I am proof! A whole lot I can't exhaust here! Are you knowledge-addicted or knowledge-fitted? Are you selfish with what you know, or are you always eager to exhaust and empty your brain of the world? Do you feel inferior when someone stands out? You know yourself better than me!

Lastly, I will not end this write-up without telling you this: When someone sacrifices his or her time to inform and inspire you, don't ever take it for granted. Value the time and respect them. You don't know the 'BEHIND SCENE' of the amazing content you consume here. Value right information dispensers. Students, value your teachers …. Again, I say! Value them! When you get close to people who know it better than you do, mellow and LEARN! I am not don't yet! After learning, SHARE! That's what makes you a real learner. Hope you got value.

I am Gift Christopher
