Time Flies

A transformation of how your life was and how it is presently and how it will be if you are able to make good use of your time.

I remember when I was still a kid, a wise man once told me the "greatest man is not the one with power and money, but the man who knows how to manipulate his time to do his bidding" in other words, learning how to maximize his time in doing something better with his life. You know, as a kid, I didn't really understand what he meant, so I didn't give it much consideration; I mean, what was I supposed to do, but as time flew by, things started falling in place, and it's as if a new world was opened in my eyes, the world of adulthood.

I was starting to get a clearer picture of what he meant, and I thank God I managed to do something worthwhile with my time. I am not saying this to make you feel bad; it wasn't easy at first when I learned how to make good use of my time; I was just a regular kid, who ate, sleeps wake-up and played, but at a point, I started thinking what my life will become if I continue with this mediocre mentality. Time is important for both our sake and my own. What makes a great life worth living?

I learned then that it isn't about having enough money, or power or fame, or whatever. Time does have its uses but also helps us; even the best of us are able to change our lives; maybe it's because we are trying to do good or perhaps because time is the best friend who can give you wisdom and perspective on life; I don't know. All I know is I want my life to change, and it's going to take all my time, energy, talent, and dedication to making sure I succeed in every aspect of life.

Yes, I strive to get better every day, and I am sure if you learn how to manage your time and be free from social media distractions and negative friends, you'll be surprised what you can do with your time. There was a time in my life my friends and I went on a party trip, we went swimming, funny enough majority didn't know how to swim and preferred staying on the edges and the place with less depth, but I didn't take No for a final answer. Believe me; I was scared like anyone else to venture into the deep cos of my past experience in swimming; I drowned at the age of nine, but for someone who was determined as me, I decided to give it a shot.

Ah, mean, the worst that could happen is me getting drowned, but one thing is for sure, I won't die. Before I went to the other side of the pool, I told my friends, "In case I don't come out, send someone to come to rescue me" I marched on, others thought I was insane and tried to stop me, but I didn't listen. I started moving towards the 9ft deep water; when I got to the middle of no return, I knew I was done for; I wasn't moving, I was just there, and I couldn't see the end of the other side, I thought of what will become of me of I die at this spot and thought of how I will be mocked and ridiculed on then a supernatural strength enters me making me to swim to the other side and when I finally came out, I breathe heavily, and I thank God I didn't show. lols I made it across, and I tried again and again and again until I started getting used to it; while others were having fun with their time, I was being tutored by a navy man, who told me, "learn now and play later."

I took his advice, I learned how to swim, and I left my comfort zone to do something my friends couldn't do. I applied this same principle in my life; I learned to make good use of my time and leave my comfort zone, and do something risky, and I survived it. If you don't learn how to make good use of your time and stop living a mediocre life, I'm sorry if your time isn't going the way it should.

THIS FICTION OVER---------------------------------------------------------------------ID LOVE TO CONTINUE THIS, BUT YOU GET THE IDEA OF THE WHOLE THING. IT'S IMPORTANT THAT YOU KNOW HOW TO USE YOUR TIME AND DON'T BE A LOSER AND STOP DOING IT BEFORE YOU'VE EVEN STARTED SOMETHING! THANK YOU FOR READING!!! <3 <3 <3
