An illusion or not? is it a magical day that automatically changes to another day? Why is it that when we sleep and wake, that particular day we have been referring to as tomorrow becomes today? When are we ever going to wake and say yes, this is tomorrow? Is there a day we can wake without this future tense being postponed and shifted to the "next day?" "What is tomorrow" is my personal perception, query and philosophy about if there is future or we only have 'today' to live. Let's read...
One day when you wake, you're going to hear it ticking from afar. You're going to know it's a new day to start again, a new day to plan for 'tomorrow.' It might even be a new day you have set aside to execute those plans you have made because it has been your desire to build a house, buy a car, marry, continue your work as if it would never end. That particular day, you will wake and also notice that the softness of your pillow has left its uniqueness in the hollow of a perplexed mind buried inside your skull. That faithful day, you notice that the pain in that shaken part of you bearing the heart of another is gone, and not even the strange people around would make sense to you. You look around, hoping to see those you loved, those who used to look at you and say it's shining when it's vividly raining.
You still would not understand why even your dear children, humble wife, and all your relatives have not noticed you are awake. That certainly is the day you initially called 'tomorrow.' Isn't it weird that you wake and call a day you have referred to as tomorrow 'today?' This might also be a magical world, you know? A globe where you sleep but wake up either by the roadside, on your bed, in the market, in the river, or even in a thick forest where you see people without a head or other private parts. Isn't it magical? Yes, it is; if not, how do we explain someone who says he would be visiting a physiotherapist by 'tomorrow' because of back pain but wakes that 'said tomorrow' with no pain anymore? Regarding the fact that he must have undergone a series of surgery or worked more on the road inside a somersaulting vehicle, squeezing himself and carrying the weight of many people who didn't also know that 'tomorrow' would come to them-with no pain?
If such persons are women, however, they are expected to experience the pain of childbearing in addition. How do we explain to our children that such people had no pain the day following their misfortune without incorporating some elements of fiction, illusion, and imagination into the story? Or maybe if I were you, in my own perspective, I would need to start by explaining the relationship between the living and the dead. That when we sleep, all information about our body, about our environment is lost! We are left with no information in the bank. The ability of such information to return remains the link between the living and the dead. Such that once the pieces of information are able to return, we then remember our body, our hands, and feet, we wake and discover we are still on the bed, we remember that we have something left undone a few hours ago, and we continue again as if we were certain the eyes would still open each time it falls blank behind the eyelids.
Such faithful day you will wake in such strange world, you will understand that tomorrow would never come again. that day, you will know we only have the day we see. We only have it to amend our ways and live to the fullest. When you finally realize it's from the void you hear the clock tick, you will never know the progress of your profiles on social media again, changing its last seen from seconds to mins, days to weeks, months to years as though no one will update it again forever.
You wouldn't also notice the RIP being attached to your write-ups, pictures, etc., because of the bridge now existing between you and the information; the Judas who betrayed you while you were asleep, flee, never to return! When we reach this 'tomorrow' you all talk about, do let me know. Tap me and say, Mark, "here is the tomorrow I have been telling you about." And if I am unable to correct you that it's called today, then I promise to drop my perception...If not...
