Whoever Wills Can Now Come

…And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. Revelation 22:17. God has defeated sin and Satan through the sacrifice of Jesus. Anyone who wills can now come to God through Him to receive God’s offer of salvation free of charge. God offers this salvation free, not because it is cheap, but because it is priceless. According to the revered theologian Paul, there are only two conditions required to lay hold on God’s offer of salvation through Jesus Christ.

First, a person has to believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He died and rose again on the third day, just as the Scripture said.

Secondly, he must acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ through the confession or testimony of his mouth.

This is so simple, yet it is the secret to the experience of salvation in Christ and all that comes with that salvation. Until a person comes to God, he cannot live out his full potential because he will be living and functioning outside his true element, just as a fish cannot live the life it was created to live outside water.

God is humanity’s natural habitat, and life truly begins after one has found God. Those who desire true success must actively pursue a personal relationship with God, knowing that nothing else but Him can fill the void within them and satisfy the deep longings of their hearts. They must not be ashamed to declare their utter dependence on God or their allegiance to Him. They must offer their worship and loyalty to Him as the only God worthy of their worship and praise and serve Him, not only with their lives but also with their substance and everything they own. They must also demonstrate their love and allegiance to God through the way they treat others around them.

To be truly successful before God and in the world as you go about fulfilling your purpose in life, you must cast your crown before God and make your life accountable to Him. Since He created you, He knows what He created you for and what you are capable of. This truth has made great men and women out of ordinary people, and it will do the same for you if you plug into it.
