Why You Need To Start With The Little You Have

The journey to the top always begins with clarity of mind; I mean a well-analyzed, clearly painted picture of what's to come, how to tackle it, and what you actually mean to achieve from it.

Even being the best shouldn't compel you to stop working hard on yourself; you need to push yourself further and further.  You ask why you need this, even when you're the best at what you're doing? The answer is very simple and obvious; life doesn't stand still; it keeps moving, keeps changing, and the record you set today can be surpassed at the very tip of your nose unexpectedly. But by working on yourself all the time, you not only distance yourself from your rivals but will also keep breaking your previous record. I doubt if there's an established definition for a good life or when one has to rest or sit back and confidently say that he has made it. Do you know why? Even guys like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezoz, Mark Zuckerberg, Aliko Dangote, etc., are still in the race of bettering their previous achievements.

Distance from living in the here and now by squandering all your hard-earned income on things that don't add to your wellbeing; why don't you learn to plan ahead and choose to refrain from instant gratification by preparing for a better tomorrow. Reaching our potential is not about how much we earn but how we account for each penny we earn.

Don't get me wrong; I am not saying that you should forfeit your needs. I mean your basic needs (like food), you shouldn't, because man needs to eat before anything else. But you can work on your wants (that stuff you desire to have but can forgo for the time being and not get affected). Maybe it's high time you quit spending sumptuously, devouring every penny like there's no tomorrow.

Yeah, it has not been easy, and it's not going to be easy; you should know this. The reason why you should keep stretching out, raising the bar, or hustling hard is that it will be so sweet when you eventually make it someday. Dear brethren, keep going and never stop till you reach the very top. Not until you have it all can you start with the little you have; invest with it instead of spending it lavishly on your wants. Remember that wants are endless. And this can be purchased anytime. Remember, no one can change your life for you. Only you can do it.
