Words Of Life (success Noggets)

Don't jump steps...Then the devil took Him up into the Holy City and set Him on a Pinnacle of the temple,...

And said to him, if you are the son of God, cast yourself down. (Matt 4:5-6) The easiest way in which most believers tempt God is when we think we can jump steps and break principles of nature and then expect not to fail or fall or expect the Miracle of an Angel to catch us or help us.

If the devil wants to deceive you, He'll first take you up (in leadership) and then take you to the temple (Church), and then begin to make you feel you can cast off diligence to your studies or business or work and still get "A" or be successful because you're a child of God...The devil may even remind you of how God has promised in His word to come miraculously to your aid... That you can't fail or fall even if you cast yourself down or cast your consecrations down or neglect diligence and become lazy...

But may I ask you, how did Jesus get to the top of that temple in the first place? Was it by jumping?, No... He actually took the staircase, so if the temple has steps, why then jump when he could use the steps to also go down? Why must we neglect the right steps? I tell you, if Jesus had yielded to that temptation, He would have fallen and broken His bones even though He is the son of God; you can't be tempting God by jumping steps breaking principles, and expecting Him to come to your aid.

In your studies and all you do, don't tempt God because you are a leader or because you go to church; take the necessary steps to get the best in your field. You don't need to prove to anyone that God can deliver you from failing if you don't work hard. Don't tempt God; take the right steps. God bless you as you add diligence to your spirituality.
