Words Of Life Vision Makes You Talk Less

Vision makes you talk more about the Lord...When he came out, he could not speak to them. They realized he had seen a vision in the temple, for he kept making signs to them but remained unable to speak. (Luke 1:22) After Zechariah encountered that Angel at the Altar, the people he left behind, his family, and his friends, were expecting him to come out and speak to them as usual or behave as he used to, but what he saw changed his tongue, he could only communicate to them with signs...

Friend, if what God has shown you in secret does not constrain you to talk less or control the way and manner in which you publicize yourself, then I question what you received; I also doubt if you know the gravity of the assignment God has given you. There is an evil in this age and generation that makes every young man or woman want to show off on the internet the little dealings of God with Him in secret or the few drops of blessings showing forth in his or her life...

Their vision only makes them publicize themselves more and talk more... If you truly met with God or an Angel at your altar, if what you saw looked bigger and greater than your natural strength and ability, if you really understand that God is seeking a John the Baptist from your womb and not the droplets you see in your life now, you'll know you need to Pray more and talk less.

Young man, we don't need to know how many hours you prayed in the secret or the programs you're being invited to; young lady, you don't need to flood the internet with your pictures and your secret life. You know, in many cases, it's just to show off your exploits, not God's glory... Until you see what was promised you, until you see John the Baptist born, until you see the fullness of His God's Glory manifest just as He promised you, I think wisdom would demand that you pray more, groan more but talk less, publicize yourself less...

If your vision is big indeed, it will constrain you and distort your normal way of life (especially when you see how far you are from achieving it). Can you take a moment to ask God not to make your glory too early? Can you ask God to make you dumb until what He promised you comes to pass, so you won't talk them away? I pray God helps me, that His Vision for me will consume me and challenge me to seek Him more and less of myself...
