You Are Not Too Old!

Physical limitations can be corrected, the question is are you ready to serve or not?

I don't think anybody was as old as Moses when God called him. He was eighty years old! He was forty years old when he ran away from Egypt, and God appeared to him forty years later. (See Acts 7;23-30). This and that happened, and you were opportune to receive Christ at such an age and so? Don't be discouraged, beloved; if you are willing and yielded to God, then you are far more useful and important to God than an unserious and unyielding youth.

Don't say words like "I don leave am for una wey young" or "these youths are lucky to know God early." What about you? So Abram departed as the Lord had instructed, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran. (Gen 12:4 NLT) so are you still discouraged? I'm not saying "wait until you are old, then start serving God," not at all. What I am saying is this, don't miss out twice. You missed out on the opportunity to serve God while you were younger, but it will be unwise of you to miss out on the opportunity to serve him while you are older. Don't decide to be a bench warmer.

No matter how little, do something that will earn you a reward in eternity. If you regularly listen to Daddy E A Adeboye, you must have heard him share this story; a man was born again in his eightys, and he was given a prophecy by someone that he was going to die soon. He told Daddy G.O what the person said, and daddy asked him a simple question, 'you just gave your life to Christ not long ago. Do you really want to die now?" "No. I want to also serve God and work for God before I leave", the man responded.

He ended up living up to ninety-nine years old, serving God faithfully. Romans 8:11 KJV says; But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. God is whispering to you today, "I can still make do with you. You are the perfect vessel I need". God bless you
